Change instantly and easily from alternating pressure to basic lateral rotation with a single, recessed toggle switch. Requires no disconnecting or exchanging of air lines.

The new Deluxe control unit includes a "static" button, which parks the unit in powered flotation mode, temporarily suspending rotation and alternating pressure to facilitate feeding, transfers, dressing changes, etc. The low pressure indicator light gives users at-a-glance assurance of proper function.

The APM2 delivers all the patented features that make our original PressureGuard APM stand out from the pack: the therapeutic Geo-Matt anti-shearing surface, the two-part Safety Edge and subtle shifts in weight-bearing in 10-minute cycles without sharp pressure drop-offs.

Mattress Selection Guide

The PressureGuard APM2 is ideal for aggressive or even critical prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers, especially when skin breakdown does not respond to lower-level products. Use this mattress when a patient can't or won't reposition frequently but has at least one or two ulcer-free weight-bearing positions.
