This split-top overbed table features a molded urethane edge top for up to a half gallon of spill containment. Ergonomic handles contain steel reinforcements and provide a comfortable grip and easy mobility. Newly designed cupholders have been incorporated into the urethane and accommodate most commonly sized beverage containers. When the split-top is activated, the upper table slides either forward or backward, allowing the lower table to move into the opposite position. This creates more user-friendly space for the patient or caregiver. The gas cylinder lift mechanism and internal bushings provide a smooth and easy height adjustment range of 29.5" to 44.5". The heavy-duty opal powder-coated column and base is available with either an "H" or "U" design.
