Kendall Healthcare is part of the Disposables & Specialty Division of Tyco International, Ltd., and has manufactured medical equipment and medical supplies since the early 1900s. After supplying the need for surgical dressings during both World Wars and the Korean War, the company enjoyed the upswing of the health and hygenic products industries before becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Colgate-Palmolive Company in 1972. Today Kendall manufactures and distributes a diverse line of health care and specialty industrial products, with operations in over 75 countries. While continuing their successful lines of traditional and advanced wound care products, Kendall also produces sharps disposal devices, enteral feeding pumps, needles and syringes, cardio thoracic equipment and other specialty and general health care products and supplies.
