Cambridge Technologies, commonly known as Camtec, has over 25 years of bariatric engineering experience. Operating a 60,000 square foot facility in Cambridge, Maryland, Camtec has grown beyond exclusive government contracting work and now designs and manufactures hospital-grade bariatric beds and their proprietary line of patient chairs, the CareChair. The CareChair is available in regular and bariatric models and can be used in many hospital and extended-care environments. Camtec also prides itself on its ability to design, engineer and manufacture special and custom orders.
